FVO Alpha Release moved to 2023 Q3 (early)

We regret to announce that the release date of FVO (FantaVerse Odyssey) has been pushed back to early Q3 2023, from the original Q2 release date.
The delay is primarily due to large number of optimizations needed to make FVO run smoothly on the largest number of GPU’s available (The 8-year old GTX960M with 2GB VRAM is the minimum GPU required to enjoy FVO). FVO has been completely re-written from scratch to use the Unreal 3D engine, which places substantially higher requirements on GPU hardware compared to the old Fantaverse 2.0 Beta version. Moreover, FVO will be immediately enjoyable and even mildly addictive; Players engage in Counter-Strike style real-time action combat.
Please watch this space for more announcements, as we put the final touches on FVO. We expect the FVO alpha version to be available for limited testing In July.

AI Meta Club (AMC) and Fantaverse 2.0 Beta EOL

- We woud like to clarify our previously ongoing discussions with AI Meta Club (AMC), which started in March of this year and was still in the negotiation stages, with no verbal or signed written agreement as of this writing.
- Initially 5000+ Fantaverse Terran NFT’s were consigned to AMC gratis and in good faith.
- Moreover, we recently realized that AMC has been using the Fantaverse brand, completely without our knowledge or authorization, to conduct inappropriate online/offline promotion and marketing activities in at least 30 regional cities.
- In addition, AMC falsely claimed that the Fantaverse NFT’s they promote can earn AMC tokens, a feature that was never authorized by Fantaverse.
- These AMC actions seriously violated Fantaverse’s principles: Fantaverse will only conduct proper and legal marketing promotions in countries where crypto tokens and assets are fully protected by law. For example, Fantaverse does not actively promote or market crypto products in China.
- Fantaverse was never aware or involved with AMC’s promotion of any token or Fantaverse NFT’s; no Fantaverse Team member was ever present in any of their online/offline promotion events.
- As such, all AMC’s online/offline activities and promotions were unilaterally organized by AMC with no consent, knowledge, or involvement from Fantaverse.
- Due to the aforementioned reasons, Fantaverse will terminate all negotiations with AMC with immediate effect.
- Fantaverse 2.0 Beta Game will be End-of-Life (EOL) with immediate effect.
- AMC, as 100% beneficiary of the sales, will be solely responsible for providing after-sales services and gaming rights to customers who bought the Fantaverse Terran NFT.
- We will be releasing a brand new Metaverse game called Fantaverse Odyssey (FVO) in 2023q2. FVO will have completely different themes and game-play from the old version.
- Owners of all Fantaverse NFT’s except the Fantaverse Terran NFT can expect to receive air-drops of the new FVO character NFT’s.
- As a reminder, all official notices shall be announced on the website and subsequently broadcast via the Fantaverse Official social media channels. We urge you to not believe in unsubstantiated news or rumors.
- We greatly value the support and trust of the Fantaverse Community members like yourself, and will continue to uphold transparency and fairness in our operations, so as to provide the best service and experience for the Fantaverse Community.
- Fantaverse Private Limited, a Singapore registered company (UEN:202229489W), promises to fully comply with the laws and regulations of all countries in which it operates. We do not issue or sell any games or props that violate the laws and regulations of any country or region. The following will be updated for Beat 2.0:

3. Healer role added.
4. Characters eliminated will respawn at a unified location.
5. Rewards for killing monsters will drop to the ground.
6. Players can purchase equipment from the Equipment Merchant in the FantaVerse game.
7. Players can purchase potions from the Potion Merchant in the FantaVerse game to restore blood.

STAKING CONTRACT UPGRADE AND REPLACEMENT

We are currently experiencing a bug in the existing staking contract and some users may be unable to withdraw their UT rewards.
To resolve the issue, we will be upgrading the contract from 6th to 8th April 2022 and replacing the existing staking contract.
We will thus be returning the staked FTC and UT rewards to users’ corresponding wallet addresses.
The new staking contract address will go online on 8th April 2022.
Please note that the existing contract will be invalid and users will be required to re-stake FTC with the new contract to continue to receive UT rewards. Staking conditions remain unchanged and UT rewards can be withdrawn anytime.
